One Tam is a cross-jurisdictional partnership designed to leverage expertise and critical resources of its partners to steward resources on Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County, California. Through thoughtful and strategic collaboration, these agencies are better positioned to meet a range of mounting pressures from climate change, population growth, invasive species, aging infrastructure and shrinking budgets with a unified approach. One Tam employs a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to restoration, education, volunteer support and fundraising activities, and for managing the mountain and its watersheds as a socially and ecologically integrated system. One Tam is the result of a 20-plus-year evolution of formal and informal partnerships among the five partners.
